Tommy Bernardi - Alex
Tommy Bernardi was born and raised in Minneapolis, MN, the hidden gem of the Midwest. He was a member of the Williamstown Theatre Festival's 2013 Apprentice Company and is current member of The Flea's resident acting company, The Bats. He recently finished up a workshop of a new piece written, performed, and co-directed by Taylor Mac (Hir), and co-directed by Niegel Smith (Hir), a 24-hour theatrical event chronicling 240 years of popular music in America starting in 1776 and finishing in 2016. tommybernardi.com |
Alton Alburo - David
Alton Alburo is a performer based in New York City. Most notably he appeared Off-Broadway in The Wong Kids... (Ma-Yi; Off-Broadway Alliance Award) and received a nomination for his work in Kaela Mei-Shing Garvin's Corners Grove. Upcoming films include Dorian Carli-Jones's Exchange; Mark Solomon's Occult of 1 and Serum; and How to Troubleshoot a Weak Connection, a documentary on his performance piece of the same name. Tyler Byrnes - Director, Writer, Producer, Cinematographer, Editor
Born and raised near the Rust Belt city of Buffalo, NY, Byrnes brings unique industrial influences to his films. In 2010 he moved to New York City to attend the Macaulay Honors program at Hunter College, where he graduated with a B.A. in film production and studies. His films often feature NYC's compact, labyrinthine apartments, reflecting themes of repression and evasion, usually featuring queer subjects. Dorian Carli-Jones - Producer, Art Director, Animator
Dorian Carli-Jones is a New York-based independent filmmaker. Since graduating from NYU's Tisch School of the Arts with a BFA in Film & Television Production, Dorian has directed and produced various short films, often collaborating with Tyler Byrnes, with whom he runs Polygraphic Productions. He is best known for the documentary short China Remix, which chronicles the lives of three African hip-hop artists living and working in the Chinese city of Guangzhou. Edel Garstad - Associate Producer, Assistant Director
Edel Garstad is a Norwegian filmmaker based in Brooklyn, NY. Her credits include producing, writing, directing and continuity supervision. She's currently working on "Visa" (written/directed by) a short film dealing with themes of immigration and relationships, and "Lullaby" (produced by) (written/directed by Joaquin Palma), a short film about a young mother battling postpartum depression. Cameron Toy is a Brooklyn-based musician and producer. Ariana McLean - Sound Recordist
Ariana McLean is a creative professional who works primarily in (but not limited to) television, commercial, and live event production. Her credits include sound mixer, boom operator, production coordinator, and assistant editor. In August she will be the venue stage manager at the Underbelly Circus Hub at the International Fringe Festival in Edinburgh, Scotland. This fall she will travel to Vietnam to be the 2nd audio mixer and primary boom operator for The Third Wife an international period drama written and directed by Ash Mayfair. |
Rachel Ambelang - Assistant Camera, Gaffer, Animator
Rachel Ambelang is a Texas-born-and-raised and currently NYC-based filmmaker. After achieving her B.A. in Film Studies and Production from Baylor University, she moved to NYC and quickly honed her skills on commercials, television, web content, and short and feature films. She's currently in post-production on her short film Before the Court, about a teenage girl who, after accusing her basketball coach of statutory rape, is trapped in her perception of what the trial may look like. |
